Role Of education in the economic development of a country

Education is a master key of all the stubborn locks. Meaning thereby that, it is the permanent solution of almost all vices and probs. It is a blossoming moon in the swardy darkest clouds. There is rarely any nook and portion which is left unshined by its twilight. Education is very much important for every individual in a nation. It plays a major role to change the stare of a country.

Economic Development:-

Economic development refers the progress in an economy. it generally refers to the sustained, concerted actions of policy makers and communities that promote the standard of living and economic health of a specific area. Economic development can also be referred to as the quantitative and qualitative changes in the economy.

Role of education in the Economic Development:-

Multiple factors influence the economic development of a country. While other factors are equally as important in contributing to economic development; education is a significant contributor to economic prosperity. Education in every sense is one of the fundamental factors of development. No country can achieve sustainable economic development without substantial investment in human capital. Education enriches people's understanding of themselves and world. It improves the quality of their lives and leads to broad social benefits to individuals and society. Education raises people's productivity and creativity and promotes entrepreneurship and technological advances. In addition it plays a very crucial role in securing economic and social progress and improving income distribution, Education is a basic human right and considered by many as the key tools for national development. it is assumed that the most successful economies in the world are those that invest the most in his human resources. Understandably the world's large, wealthiest and most successful national economies share all of the following characteristics:

  • v .Excellent education system
  • v High level of investment in research and development
  • v Strong links between industry and educational institutions
  • v Ability to translate research into product and services that sell.

All of the above require an educated and trained citizenry.

Therefore I believe that." No country could bring a revolution in it unless its every individual are educated enough to meet the challenges. Education makes a man realize about himself."
